Experience

1987-Present:  International Strategic Information Services,

• President:  Engaged in fuel contracting, project and acquisition due diligence, IPP project development, litigation support and CO₂ market analysis.  Twenty-nine years of experience as consultant in the international and domestic coal, natural gas and electric power industries.  ISIS has successfully completed numerous project -financed deals and asset acquisitions on six continents.

1985-1987:  Dun & Bradstreet Technical Economic Services,

• 1986-87:  Vice President, Energy Group:  Management marketing, sales, consulting and development of new products for the energy division.  Together with D&B’s Petroleum Information, initiated the development of a universal code for electronic data interchange for the North American gas industry.

• 1985:  Director of Sales and Marketing, Energy

1980-1985:  Temple, Barker & Sloan, Inc. (Predecessor of Mercer Consulting), Lexington , MA

• Associate:  Developed the company’s practice in gas, oil and coal consulting.  Client companies (90% private sector) included oil, gas and coal producers, railroads, steel companies, electric and gas utilities, equipment vendors, banks, tanker and barge operators, state and federal agencies, trade associations and foreign governments.  Provided services such as strategic planning, acquisitions and divestitures assistance, litigation support, expert witness testimony, and market research for over 60 clients.

1980-Present:  Speaker and Chairman at numerous domestic and international conferences on coal, natural gas and independent power.  Quoted on various occasions in the Financial Times, Journal of Commerce, U.S. News and World Report, Coal Daily, Coal Outlook, International Coal Report, Coal Week International and International Bulk Journal.
